Avocarrot had its humble beginnings in London, where everything started in 2013 from the very frustration in monetizing our own mobile apps using banner ads. We hated them, partly because of the small payouts.
We started writing our own ad technology to circumvent them, something which later on was formalised into a legal entity and was scientifically labelled 'Avocarrot'. The company has since expanded in San Francisco and Athens, growing steadily its headcount with top talent and continuously evolving its state-of-the-art native advertising technology stack.
On September 2016 the company was acquired by Glispa Global Group, one of largest mobile ad tech companies with global presence. Avocarrot is now part of the Ampiri platform, one of the key products of Glispa Global Group, with a vision to become the leader in native mobile advertising!
Avocarrot has also been awarded as 1 of the 8 best companies from Google for Entrepreneurs in a global competition and voted as the 'Next Big Thing' at the advertising technology conference ad:tech in 2013.
